Hair weaving is a process for adding or extending hair by weaving or braiding. In the process, human hair or synthetic hair is woven to the hair's rotor so that it grows naturally. It is also referred to as hair intensification and hair integration.
There are many reasons why women today go for hair weaving. Not only women's men go for this hair technology. The basic reasons why people go for weaving hair is baldness and a wide range of hair and scalp diseases such as alopecia totalis, alopecia universalis, pimples, radiation, etc. The weaving also improves the hairstyle of an individual. Today, it is easy to make hair-woven kits on the market.
Different hair types are used for different types of hair tissue technology. The most common types are:
o Weft: It is the hair that is sewn on top. The hair is either sewn with a machine called machine weft or with a hand that is referred to as hand weft. Depending on the hair quality, the hair is reclassified in remi-weave and non-remi weave. Remi hair is also called virgin hair. It is bundled in a way where the hair's roots fall on one side and tips of the hair on the other side. Non-remi hair is also called the case of hair. The roots and tips of the hair are joined by non-remi hair.
o Synthetic hair: They are made from a range of synthetic fibers. Synthetic hair comes in weave and simple threads for braids.
o Human hair: They are more versatile because they are easy to color, curl and appliances can easily be used on human hair.
o Indian hair: they are thin and strong
o European hair: they have a soft texture
The most common and most popular hair tissue techniques are as follows:
o Bonding: This is the most popular temporary weaving method. In this method, hair traces are glued together with the roots of the hair using a special glue.
o Tracking: This method is also called nip weaving, micro-weaving and groove locking. In this method, thin hair strands are placed horizontally on the scalp. These strings are reinforced with threads in a locking stitch.
o Cornrow Tracking: The oldest weaving technique where tracing is done with cornrow braids.
o Invisible hair weaving: This is a process where the weaving is done without the use of threads and glue.
o Fusion: In this method, a machine is used to attach human hair extensions to strands of natural hair. The machine used for the purpose is similar to a hot glue gun.
o Netting: This method involves weaving of hair extension on a surface formed by braiding natural threses under a thin mesh. Netting lasts for about 3-4 months.
